How to cancel

There is no Recordist account, so cancelling happens where the subscription lives: Stripe.

Steps

1. Find any Stripe receipt or invoice email for Recordist.
2. Click the manage your subscription link (it opens the Stripe customer portal for your email; no password).
3. Choose Cancel subscription. You can also switch monthly and annual, update your card or download invoices here.

What happens next

• You keep every Pro feature until the end of the period you already paid for.
• After that, the app drops back to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: transcripts, notes, search and Prep Briefs keep working, and recording is still unlimited.
• Audio retention returns to 30 days for new meetings; existing audio older than that is cleaned up on the normal schedule.

Cannot find the receipt?

Open the app, go to Settings → License → Recover key, and enter your checkout email. The email you receive contains the portal link. Or write to [email protected] and we cancel it for you within one business day.

Within the first 14 days?

You do not need to cancel; ask for a refund instead. How refunds work.
