Support
A human replies within one business day.
Start with Wren if you want an answer now; it's an AI and says so. Open a ticket if you'd rather have a person. Either way, nobody here can see your recordings, so what you tell us is all we have. Support never asks for your transcripts or meeting audio.

Wren · Recordist's support assistant (AI)
It answers from the Help Center and isn't a human.
Hi, I'm Wren, Recordist's AI support assistant. I'm not a person; I answer from Recordist's help articles and docs. Ask me what Recordist can never see, how to check a note against the call, or how refunds work. Want a person? Choose "Talk to a human" at any time and someone at Recordist replies within one business day.
What I can't do: see anything on your laptop or reach your recordings, issue refunds, or make commitments on Recordist's behalf. What I say about recording laws is general information, not legal advice. Please don't paste transcripts or audio here; I don't need them, and support never asks for your transcripts or meeting audio.
Talk to a human
What to include
In the app: Settings → General → Export diagnostics. It writes one text file with the app and system versions, your settings, permission states, database counts and the last 400 lines of the app's log. It contains no audio, no transcripts, no notes and no API keys. In current versions it also contains no meeting or calendar titles and shows calendar feeds only by their host; older versions can include both. Please don't send us client names, meeting titles or anything said in a meeting: we can help without them. Read the file, remove anything you would rather not send, then attach it to your reply. Don't attach a diagnostics file if your meeting titles name clients or patients.
One business day
Every ticket and every email to support@recordist.app is read by a person on our team and answered within one business day. Security reports go to security@recordist.app and are acknowledged within three business days.
Refunds
Try every Pro feature free for 7 days before you pay, with no card and no account. Because you can try first, payments are not refunded, except in these cases. Within 24 hours of the first payment of a subscription, you can ask for a refund, once per customer. A yearly renewal is refunded if you ask within 7 days after the renewal date. We email you 30 days before it renews. When we refund a first payment or a yearly renewal because you asked, we refund what you paid less the fee Stripe kept on that payment, and nothing more is taken off. Our email shows both amounts. If you ask on the day of the payment, we refund it in full: the day counts by the date on your receipt or by the date where you live, whichever suits you. Billing errors, refunds for a problem or a change on our side, and any refund the law requires, such as an EU or UK withdrawal, are paid in full, with nothing deducted. Billing errors, such as a double charge or a charge after you cancelled, are always refunded. Monthly renewals are not refunded. Cancel any time and Pro runs to the end of the month you paid for. To ask, email from the address on your receipt, or open a ticket. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you where you live. How refunds work
Windows and Linux
Both are a preview, free from the download page: they come from the same code as the Mac app, but nobody has yet recorded a real call on them, so write to us with what you find and we answer like we do for the Mac. Current status
