Leave your email and we'll thank you with a Free key: 10 AI notes a month instead of 3, with no end date. We write again when something new ships, if you ask us to. We never sell or share your email.

We use your address only to send the confirmation link and the key. Privacy: recordist.app/privacy.

What happens

  1. 01Leave your email here. We send one email to confirm it.
  2. 02Open the link in it and press Confirm. The link works once, for 24 hours.
  3. 03Your key shows on that page, and a copy follows by email. Paste it in Recordist, in Settings, then License, and Free includes 10 AI notes a month from then on.
  4. 04Under your key, one box asks whether you would like an email when a new version ships. It starts unticked. Leave it, and nothing else is ever sent to this address.

Our promise

  • We never sell or share your email. Resend, our email service, sends our emails for us.
  • If you tick that box and press its button, we write when a new version is released, with what changed, or if there is ever a security notice about the app. Never an offer.
  • Your mail app's unsubscribe button stops them in one click and deletes the address at once. Each one carries an unsubscribe link too.

We keep the address until you confirm, a day at most, and for one hour after; then a one-way code made from it. If you ask for those emails, we keep the address for them until you stop them. Resend keeps its copy of each email for 30 days. Privacy, section 3.1

Recordist

Recordist for Mac is downloading.

Thank you for trying Recordist. Three small steps and it is ready before your next call. Open it now, so it is set up in time.

  1. 1Open the download and drag Recordist to Applications, then open it from there.
  2. 2Allow the microphone and system audio when your Mac asks, so both sides of the call are heard. Calendar is optional: it names your meetings and who is in them.
  3. 3Close the window when you like. Recordist waits in the menu bar and, when your next call starts, asks: Record this meeting? Nothing is recorded until you say yes.

The first time it opens, Recordist downloads its speech model: 142 MB in English, 466 MB for other languages. That usually takes a minute or two, and you can record once it finishes. The notes engine, 1 to 3 GB, follows in the background.
