Follow-up draft · ProExample

Hi Priya, thanks for today. We start phase two on 2 November at the fee we discussed. I’ll send the revised scope by Thursday; you’ll send the board pack by the 4th.

Yours to read, change and send. Recordist sends nothing.

Eight interviews, a dozen client calls, a day of 1:1s. Whatever your week is made of, the moments are much the same. A follow-up promised on Monday is still not sent on Friday. A client asks what was agreed, and wants it today. Someone says “I never said that.” Here is what Recordist does at each of those moments, and which plan does it.

The week

  1. Monday

    10:00

    Pro

Three client calls, back to back.

    What happens
Each call starts in whatever app the client uses. A small card asks whether to record, and you click Record. You tell the others, and Recordist keeps the time you did. If anyone says no, you stop.
    What you see
By lunch: three transcripts, three sets of notes and three follow-up emails drafted, none of which you typed. The notes arrive soon after each call ends, with a summary, the decisions, the open questions and the action items, each checked against the line it cites. Read a draft, change a word, send it from your own mail.

The feature. The record card, Copy notice and the mark are free. The notes for every call are Pro, and so is the follow-up email, which comes with them, with nothing to set.

    Summary

Phase two starts on 2 November at the agreed fee. You owe the revised scope by Thursday; Priya sends the board pack by the 4th.

    Decisions

    • Start phase two on 2 November at the agreed fee.00:06

    Action items

    • Revised scope · You, Thursday00:11
    • Board pack · Priya, the 4th00:14

Every decision and action item links to the line it came from. While the audio is kept, press the time and hear it.

  2. Tuesday

    09:30

    Something you were promised.

    What happens
On Monday a client said “I’ll get you the signed copy by Thursday.” You did not write it down.
    What you see
If the notes picked it up, it is on the Action items page under its due date, with a link to Monday’s meeting, where the item ends with the time it was said. When Thursday passes, it moves to Overdue, at the top.

The feature. The Action items page is free. It lists the items from every call that has notes, which on Pro is every call.

  3. Wednesday

    14:00

The second call with the same person, on a Mac.

    What happens
The calendar shows the client again. Up to 45 minutes before, the Prep Brief appears on the Meetings screen of your Mac.
    What you see
A summary of last time, what you decided and the action items still open, built on your Mac from your own notes, with no AI model and no network.

The feature. Prep Briefs are free and Mac-only for now, because they read the Mac’s calendar.

  4. Thursday

    16:00

    Pro

“What did we agree on the 4th?”

    What happens
A client asks what was agreed about fees on the 4th, and wants an answer today.
    What you see
You ask Recordist. Ask reads your last 5 or 8 meetings, or the ones a search found, and is told to name the meeting and the time its answer comes from. You open that line and press the time, and it plays, in the voice that said it, while the audio is kept.

The feature. Search is free, and so is playing any line back while the audio is kept. Ask is Pro.

  5. Friday

    16:30

    Pro

    The week, closed.

    What happens
You did not type a single note this week.
    What you see
Every call is written up, the follow-ups you sent went out in your words, and the action items Recordist found sit on one page, Overdue first, each one opening the meeting it came from.

The feature. Notes for every call and the follow-up drafts are Pro. The page they feed is free.

Notes, drafts and Ask's answers come from an AI model and can be wrong, so the app keeps the audio for you to check them against.

The other half of the promise

What Pro never does.

  • It never joins a call.

Nothing appears in the roster. You tell the people on the call yourself, and Recordist gives you the words and marks when you said them.

  • It never uploads your audio.

With the built-in engine, the transcript and the notes stay on your computer too. If you choose a cloud AI provider for notes, the transcript goes to it under your own account, off by default, and the Privacy Ledger lists each request.

  • It never sends anything for you.

Every follow-up draft is yours to read, change and send from your own mail, with no footer and nothing added.

  • It never scores anyone.

No ratings, no rankings, no mood, no engagement. It is a record of what was said.

  • It keeps nothing about your meetings on our side.

Recordist has no server that receives a recording, a transcript or a note, and the counts on the trial-end card are worked out on your computer.

Free

What stays free, with no time limit.

Everything that keeps a call safe is on every plan. Pro is the work after the call, and nothing else.

  • The Action items page, Overdue first
  • Prep Briefs, on a Mac
